WAEC launches tender for Telephone Assisted Voting

The WA Electoral Commission has released a public tender for telephone assisted voting.

Following the Western Australian Electoral Commission’s earlier Request for Information on Technology Assisted Voting, enabling the Commission to undertake market sounding into the range of Technology Assisted Voting solutions available, the Commission has released a Request for Tender (RFT)  for a Telephone Assisted Voting solution with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Vote Casting facility.

RFT WAEC2023A has been released on Tenders WA with a closing date of 2.30pm Tuesday 30 April 2024.

Telephone (Phone) Assisted Voting using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Vote Casting is being offered as a form of Technology Assisted Voting to eligible electors for the upcoming 2025 State General Election.

This offering of Technology Assisted Voting will ensure the Western Australian Electoral Commission is able to continue to offer a secret and unassisted vote for eligible Western Australian electors at State general elections.

For contractual and routine enquiries on this Request for Tender, please contact Lincoln Campbell, Technology Assisted Voting Project Manager, Western Australian Electoral Commission: lincoln.campbell@waec.wa.gov.au.
