General information:

The EEC is open Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) with evening or weekend visits accommodated by prior arrangement.

Admission to the EEC is free.

A standard group visit to the EEC lasts 1 hour. Visits can also be varied to suit a specific group’s requirements.

The maximum group size for primary school students is 40. Two groups can be accommodated at the same time (maximum 80 students in total), rotating through different rooms with their own presenter.

The maximum group size for secondary school students is 35. Two groups can be accommodated at the same time (maximum 70 students in total), rotating through different rooms with their own presenter.

All staff working at the EEC have a valid Working With Children card.

EEC staff are with the students at all times, in conjunction with supervisors and accompanying adults. The following supervision ratios are suggested: Year 5-7 students, 1 supervisor to 10 students, Year 8-12 students, 1 supervisor to 15 students.
Please note: Duty of care is the responsibility of the accompanying teachers or group leaders.
